Please excuse our wrinkles…

Our packaging is made from 40% recycled natural kraft-paper, and lined with a compostable film polymer made from annually renewable plants. Of all the bags we tested, this style has the least impact on the environment, and has proven to preserve the granola well past its Best By date.

The one challenge with this style bag has been that the brown paper material is susceptible to wrinkles from handling. Even though the wrinkles don’t impact the granola inside, we worried that it might deter customers from purchasing the product. However, we have confidence that An Average Jill Granola will sell for its quality and flavor, and our consumers will be forgiving of a few wrinkles for the bigger benefit of the environment.

Besides, we kind of like our wrinkles 😊
