An Average Jill will be donating $1 for every 1-lb bag of Sunrise Mix granola sold for pickup at Saturday’s Norfolk Farmer’s Market to the Barnadette Bucks Food Assistance Program. Orders must be placed online through norfolkfarmersmarket.org by Thursday 12pm.
The Norfolk Farmers Market developed the Barnadette Bucks Food Assistance Program to offer local families financial assistance to shop throughout the season at the farmer’s market. “Barnadette Bucks” are funded by donations made by kind neighbors and grants, and offered to recipients through the town’s churches and town hall. It’s a great community program that’s only in its third year. Let’s help ‘em out.
